“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” is putting Chloe Bennet into the field with its upcoming episode 3. Titled “The Asset,” the newest installment of the ABC-Marvel series has Skye heading out on her first mission.
But this assignment looks to be the agents of SHIELD’s most challenging yet. Photos of the episode show Skye needing to go under cover around David Conrad’s new character, while Coulson deals with Ian Hart’s scientist character Dr. Franklin Hall.
A promo for the episode has also been released, and can be watched above. Though Skye goes into the mission with zeal, both Agents Grant Ward and Phil Coulson seem a bit concerned. And invisible enemies? Count us as excited as Skye.
The official synopsis for “The Asset” reads: “When the brilliant scientist Dr. Franklin Hall is kidnapped, Agent Coulson and his SHIELD agents must race against the clock to locate him. Skye is their only way in — pushing the team to their limits when the entire plan turns upside-down.”
“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” airs Tuesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
