Netflix brought the first footage from Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 to New York Comic Con today, and that footage has leaked. The short teaser offers our first look at Jon Bernthal as The Punisher and Elodie Yung as Elektra, though those images are fleeting. We also get a new look at Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple, andCharlie Cox’s Man Without Fear himself. It isn’t known when the footage will officially arrive, but we have the video for you to watch right now. At the end of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 1, we finally got to see Matt Murdock in his signature red costume. And it looks like that same suit will be the center of attention when Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 premieres on Netflix this spring. First shown in a new poster created to celebrate these new episodes, the red suit is seen in action in this first trailer. Fans lucky enough to be in attendance got their very own poster, and were treated to a panel. Acclaimed artist Joe Quesada has created this first poster for the return of Marvel’s Daredevil, which doesn’t have a return date just yet. This same time last year, Joe Quesada provided a first look at concept art for Marvel’s Daredevil Season 1 at NYCC 2015, and it certainly got fans excited for this first of five exclusive Marvel Netflix series. Here we are a year later, and Marvel’s Daredevil has proven to be a massive hit with fans and critics alike. Joe Quesada serves as Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment. And he obviously knows what fans want. This one-sheet, which gloriously shows off Charlie Cox’s blind vigilante lawyer, is another piece of concept art. And it serves as a fine preview of what’s to come in future episodes. It will be Matt, dressed in red, ready to kick ass and take no prisoners. And next year, Daredevil will be squaring off against quite a few iconic Marvel characters including The Punisher. Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 will feature the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (aka The Man Without Fear). Joining him for this second run are Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Scott Glenn as Stick and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. Making their series debut in 2016 are Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (aka the Punisher) with Elodie Yung also set to appear, playing the deadly assassin Elektra Natchios. At this time, it has not been confirmed if Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Kingpin. But that seems likely. Marvel’s Daredevil is Executive Produced by Doug Petrie, Marco Ramirez and Drew Goddard, along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb It is is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios. Marvel’s Daredevil Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix. Marvel Studios’ second series Jessica Jones will debut on November 20.
