In a recent interview, Victor Garber share his thoughts about whether or not his character would continue to be ‘Firestorm‘ in the upcoming 3rd season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In addition, he shared some tidbits about the highly anticipated Arrowverse crossover coming this fall. Check out the details below and let us know what you think. Legends of Tomorrow kicks off its third season on Tuesday, October 10th at 8pm Central on the CW.
“A lot goes on—in his real family life, and his family life on [the Waverider] and he has to choose some things and make some decisions,” Garber said. “Martin is questioning everything in season 3, which I think is very appropriate—for someone of my age and also of Martin’s temperament.”
Garber also said that he as an actor was personally interested in the human side of the show.
“I’m not well-versed in this world that I’m inhabiting—so the most interesting part for me is the human connection. For me, it’s all about what happens between people so when they introduced Lily, I was very happy about that… and continue to be,” he said.
In regards to the Arrowverse crossover event he said
“I’m excited about all of that.” Garber revealed. “As exhausting as all of that is [crossing the shows over], and very disruptive to schedules – because everybody’s trying to figure out how they’re going to shoot their episode that week – it turned out to be a lot of fun.”
Garber then went on to address what excites him about crossing over with each of the other Arrowverse shows.
“I’m in love with Melissa [Benoist], who plays Supergirl, and I haven’t really had much to do with her at all. But when I’ve just been in the room with her, she’s just so enchanting. And The Flash… that’s where I started, so I have a kind of special feeling for all those people, and I’m excited to get back on that set again. Arrow, I’ve never worked on and I only know Stephen [Amell] from Comic-Con – we did a crossover together but we had very little to do, but I think he’s great.”
