It looks like the rumors were TRUE about the major race changes to main characters in Spider-Man: Homecoming. It looks like the call sheet which has Flash Thompson played by a Hispanic actor and Mary Jane Watson played by an African American actress has been ‘CONFIRMED’ accurate by actor Hannibal Buress during his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club. Check out the video below and then sound off after the JUMP!
Three weeks ago, part of an alleged call sheet for Spider-Man: Homecoming had surfaced online revealing some pretty… shocking roles in the upcoming reboot. While some had doubted the legitimacy of the photo, actor/comedian Hannibal Buress has finally revealed his role in the movie and it pretty much lines up with what was claimed in the call sheet.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland in the title role, with Zendaya (Michelle), Laura Harrier (Liz Allen), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Bokeem Woodbine, Tyne Daly, Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Hannibal Buress, Selenis Leyva, Michael Mando, Garcelle Beauvais, Abraham Attah, Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man) and Michael Keaton (Adrian Toomes/ Vulture). The movie is scheduled for release July 7, 2017.
