Has the Flash shown his true colors?
A new Australian promotion for The Flash Season Two shows Barry Allen racing around the globe, as he tends to do…but instead of leaving his signature trail of yellow lightning, The Flash sparks a blue streak in his wake. It could just be a slick piece of marketing, but what if there’s more to it? After all, there’s no telling what the singularity event, which left viewers on a cliffhanger ending during the Flash’s season finale, could have done to The Flash’s biology and power-set.
The blue lighting could also be a tease to the Blue Flash, who just recently zipped through the pages of DC Comics’s current Flash series. But with Jay Garrick, Wally West, Zoom, and Jessie Quick all heading to the series for season two, it’s hard to imagine that the Flash would add yet another speedster to its cast.
