Deadline reports that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are working on a story for Warner Bros.’ planned big screen adaptation of The Flash. As of right now, it’s only a story treatment that the duo are developing and the site points out that they are not yet attached to direct. It could be that they just come up with a story for the studio to then enlist another writer or they might write the script themselves. Right now though, it’s just a treatment, but hopefully they do end up writing and directing! Fans have been wondering when The LEGO Movie directors might tackle a superhero movie, and while there were rumblings of some sort of animated Spider-Man spinoff, that was before Sony teamed up with Marvel. Ezra Miller is set to play The Flash – it’s not clear if he’ll star as Barry Allen or Wally West – and it has a release date of March 23rd, 2018. What do you think?
