SUPERGIRL Sn. #2 Ep. #17 ‘Distant Sun’ TONIGHT!
Kevin Smith returns to direct the next new episode of Supergirl titled, ‘Distant Sun‘! And, for those who are fans of the Alex and Maggie relationship, things get a bit hairy in this upcoming episode as Maggie’s ex-girlfriend ‘Emily’ Comes to town. “A large bounty is put out on Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and aliens from far and near attack National City intent on taking out the woman of steel. Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) run into Maggie’s ex-girlfriend, Emily (guest star Hayley Sales), who is in town for a week. Hank (David Harewood) gets an interesting order from President Marsdin (guest star Lynda Carter).”
Smith directed the episode which was written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist in the title role, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater. Supergirl season two has also featured recurring roles for Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, and Lynda Carter, star of the ’70s Wonder Woman series, as the President of the United States.
