Nintendo

There have been several video games systems over the past few decades, but the one that I have enjoyed the most is Nintendo. NES that was developed and released in the 1980s with Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt, Zelda, and Mike Tyson’s Punch-out was very popular. In the 1990 the Super NES was released with great games such as Mario, Mortal Kombat, and the Madden Football games were just a few great games released. Over the years there have been some great hand held games such as Gameboy, and the 3DS. The Wii and Wii U have designed some cool games with great graphics and have made hours of family fun around the globe.

Back in the 1980’s I remember we used to be able to rent the NES from our local grocery store. It came with the original games Mario and Duck Hunt. We had a small black and white TV probably about a 10 inch screen, but never the less me and my brothers would play for hours on end trying to reach the final Bowser. In the late 80’s we finally got an NES for Christmas and eventually a SNES. I still have the SNES today. As teenagers we would have fierce competitions with 1991 MLB, and when Madden 94 came out I think we may have worn out a few controllers and perhaps broke a few that got tossed at the TV when one of us would loose. When we got our first Wii it was for the kids Christmas but my wife and I stayed up 2 straight nights and beat Super Mario Brothers. the Wii would also provide some great family nights with Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Family Game Night, Wii Party, and many many more games.

So in conclusion, I have enjoyed the Nintendo gaming systems more then any other system I have played. I have enjoy the games that have been provided over the years and I have held onto the SNES and the Nintendo 64. Every now and again I break them out, and for me I love playing the old SNES games. They may be poor graphics and slow but the nostology kicks in and it brings back memories of a simpler time, playing games with my brothers and not having a care in the world except for getting that final out in MLB, getting on fire in NBA Jam, or slaying Ganon with that one finally blow after putting 500+ hours of playing time in to get to him. All in all Nintendo has been a staple in my life for a good number of years.
