Sony has confirmed the existence of The Last of Us Remastered. “‘SCEA can confirm The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PS4, and we’ll be sharing more details with you shortly.'” – by SCEA PR team,” wrote president of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter.
Retailer listings are also starting to appear confirming the inclusion of the Abandoned Territories and Reclaimed Territories map packs. The Left Behind story DLC, which puts players in control of Ellie, is also included. The title will be running at 1080p per the description, but there is no mention of frame rate. Original Story: The rumors appear to be true. Sony and Naughty Dog are getting ready to release a remastered PS4 version of The Last of Us (our review). The image below showed up this morning on the PlayStation Store’s web portal. No release date has been revealed, nor do we know for sure yet if Left Behind and other DLC is included. The title will be priced at $59.99, and given the “Day 1 Digital” label seems slated for a retail release, also. |
