Transform and Roll Out A Playstation?
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the original Playstation, Takara Tomy has announced a very cool Transformers crossover with none other than Optimus Prime and Megatron! The figures will both transform into original console replicas. So far there are no official release plans for North America, but that shouldn’t be a problem for collector’s thanks to the internet. The first figure, Megadrive is set for a July release. Let us know what you think after the JUMP!

This year is the 20th anniversary of Sony’s PlayStation. The console was released in 1994 in Japan (1995 in the United States), but it’s only now we are learning the console’s deepest secret. It’s really a Transformer.Takara Tomy is preparing a special version of Optimus Prime that transforms into a replica of the original PlayStation. This isn’t the first time that the Japanese manufacturer has combined classic gaming and Hasbro’s beloved toy line.
