G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING THE ‘BLOCKBUSTER’!

Story By Mitchell Smith
Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1994 G.I. Joe Blockbuster. By 1994 most of the original Joe fans from the eighties were all grown up. Many had kids of their own and were buying Joes for their kids. The Joe line had a great run and we all know 1994 would mark the end of original run. The last few vehicles went under the radar and many who got back into collecting never realized some were ever made. The Blockbuster is an interesting vehicle.
I guess it would be a midsized vehicle although larger then a Snowcat but smaller then a Rolling Thunder. The Blockbuster does have a lot of passenger room so I look at this as a winter transport. I was able to get 11 troops on comfortably and each area has a station that seems to act as a radar or other technical work station and gun stations. There is a large gun on top that will launch multiple missiles, I think 10 total. The Vehicle comes with Windchill v2. Another character you never hear mentioned. Over all this is a pretty cool vehicle and deserves a little love. Who has a Blockbuster? share your thoughts with us in the comments below! Make sure to check back for our next discussion.
