Marvel Studios has unveiled a sneak peek into the upcoming third season of “What If…?”, a month after the release of the second season on Disney+. The revealed images offer a glimpse into the diverse concepts that will be explored as The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) continues his journey across various realities within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Notable characters like Sam Wilson’s Captain America (Anthony Mackie) and Red Guardian (David Harbour) are set to make their animated series debut, marking their entrance into the What If…? universe.

The images from the upcoming season showcase Sam Wilson alongside Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), hinting at an undisclosed and potentially perilous mission that the two heroes will embark on together. Sam Wilson, who assumed the role of Captain America post-Avengers: Endgame and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is depicted as ready to confront challenges in this alternate reality under the watchful gaze of The Watcher.

The second season of “What If…?” continued the foundational premise established in the first installment.
