Exploring the Legacy: A Look at the 1995 12-Inch SGT Savage Figure

Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1995 stand alone 12 inch G.I. Joe SGT Savage figure. As we all know the long run of GI Joe O-ring figures ran from 1982-1994, and the glorious days of GI Joe came to a halt. With it came some trials of some other lines including GI Joe Extreme and SGT. Savage. The SGT Savage figures were cool and the 12 inch figure was pretty awesome. He has a lot of accessories and a tough look.

I got mine at the local flea market and he was missing his machine gun and helmet so I had to substitute those but I still think he looks great. I think this would be a cool character to work into a modern figure, o-ring, and/or Classified figure line. Overall this is a great figure and I’m happy to have him.
