Snake Bitten & Battle Ready: Classified Cobra Commander ‘Once A Man’!

Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 2024 G.I. Joe Classified Once A Man. I got this from my man YTJ. What a figure. This is an awesome figure and the detail is excellent. As most of you probably know I’m a fan of the 1987 movie. It was something new and fresh while using many original characters as well. The unlikely matchup of Cobra Commander and Roadblock to escape Cobra La was genius. When Cobra Commander was reduced to a reptilian and eventually to a full blown snake it really showed his vulnerability along with his strength to be able to use Roadblock to survive and get away.

The facial detail on this figure is outstanding and it really captures the cartoon character. I wish they would have made Roadblock in his true 1986 version as this was my first Roadblock as a kid and one of my favorite versions. The Cobra Commander figure is awesome and the artwork on the box is really great. I fooled around a bit trying to capture the moments they spent escaping.
