Which G.I. Joes are Important To Get In The G.I. Joe Classified Line With or Without their Original Vehicle

Story by Mitchell Smith
Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m talking about G.I. Joe Classified drivers/pilots I want to see even if they don’t get their original vehicles produced. GI Joe always had pride in its vast amount of vehicles and especially of the size of some of the largest vehicle/playsets ever produced by any toy line. 1982 proved to be a super successful year for GI Joe and in 1984 the GI Joe base was released. At the time this was one of the largest if not the largest playset ever released including the 12 inch line of Joes and Barbie. It gave all other toys a run for their money either way.
The following year the Whale came out, another large vehicle that I was fortunate enough to have as a kid. Then in 1985 Hasbro did something never done before by a toy company. They released the 7 foot long Flagg. By far the largest toy ever produced. The list goes on and a lot of vehicles would not be feasible in a Classified scale. However there are a lot of characters who were staples in the show and it would be awesome to see them much to the capacity of Covergirl without her Wolverine. First one that comes to mind is Cutter. Cutter was a signature character in the cartoon and having him released with his Boston cap would be an awesome addition.
Deep Six also was another one of those figures that was a key player in the animated series. Although a Classified Shark would probably be a perfect size for a Classified vehicle I would still take a Deep Six without it. 1986 had 3 vehicle drivers/pilots that were staples in the cartoon and definitely favorites to a lot of fans. Cross-Country, Lift-Ticket, and Slip-Stream, all had major rolls in the cartoon and being produced without a vehicle would be perfectly fine by me. There are a bunch more over the years that would be awesome to see but for now I will dream or take a feeble attempt at doing some custom figures. Which vehicle driver would you like to see even if they don’t get their vehicle? Make sure to check back next week for the next discussion at The Outpost.
