EMMY WINNER ‘POWERS BOOTHE’ JOINS AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. CAST!

A new mega villain is coming to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the character will be played by Emmy Award winning actor, ‘Powers Boothe‘. Nashville and Sin City actor Powers Boothe will be joining the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a recurring character. Boothe, who also appeared in Marvel’s The Avengers as a World Security Council member, will play Gideon Malick, Marvel.com has revealed.

“Gideon is incredibly menacing and in him we have a character that even the stone-cold Grant Ward would fear,” Marvel TV head and executive producer Jeph Loeb said. “Only someone of Powers’ caliber could deliver the type of ominous and powerful performance we needed.”
