Get the Skinny on ‘Hunger Games MockingJay Part 2’!

Hunger Games wraps up the series with this movie and it does not disappoint. Katniss is as good as ever. She finds herself in the middle of a battle for power and true to her nature she does not like it one bit but plays along. The visuals are stunning, the acting is wonderful.
Effie, Snow, Tigress, Lt Jackson, Cressida and all the rest come to life and you feel their plight.

There is so much going on in this movie behind the scenes it will have you thinking throughout the whole thing. Plenty of action along the way as Katniss leads her elite team of past victors on a mission of her own design. Just the right amount of action too, enough to keep you going but not so much it becomes overkill.

The only drawback and it is a personal one for me, was that there were multiple ending scenes that the movie could have finished on any one of them. It dragged out the ending a little too much for my taste.

I kept thinking to myself as the movie rolled along that the writing and the direction were flowing along so well.
It was just a good movie to kill a Sunday afternoon with.
