With the news regarding a Beverly Hills Cop television series now officially dead in the water, Deadline has just reported that Paramount has decided to move forward with a sequel to the 80’s hit cop franchise that will star actor Eddie Murphy reprising his role as Axel Foley. Hollywood writing duo Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) have been hired to pen the script.
