G.I.Joe 30th Anniversary ‘Lifeline’ ‘Sci-Fi’ and ‘Airtight’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Today my discussion is on three of my favorite modern G.I.Joe figures. In the modern era line there were a great deal of upgrades on most of my favorite Joes. There were 3 figures all together I found in a mad hunt and they are the last 3 figures I bought at retail, Lifeline, Airtight, and Sci-Fi. These are 3 of my favorite figures and I was sad the direction Hasbro took on selling action figures because I missed out on so many of my favorite characters. First off Lifeline was an awesome upgrade, I loved the removable helmet just pure gold.

The accessories were top notch such as the backboard, paddles, and medic pack. Second is Airtight. This was one of my favorite characters growing up, but I never had a figure as a kid. This is another awesome update. I loved the extra backpack and the removable helmet. I think a head without the covering would have made this one 100% pure gold but this is about as close as you will find as a perfect figure. The last one I picked up was Sci-Fi. I did have an original Sci-Fi as a kid and I loved that figure. The upgrade was awesome. The pack and gun were very similar to the original with an awesome upgrade.

Then there are not 1 but 2 of my favorite feature, removable helmets. Again an extra head without the hood would have been great but this one was another home run in my book.
