G.I.Joe ‘Baroness’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m getting into another long time G.I.Joe ‘Cobra‘ character and perhaps one of the most popular The Baroness. The Baroness has been a part of the franchise since as long as I can remember. Although her first figure came in 1984, I feel she was a part of the cartoon before that. She was the one that was always getting behind Joe lines in disguise. There was an intricate love triangle happening there and many Joes were seduced by her beauty over the years.

I have the 1984 version of the Baroness and this is such a great figure. Although she has had many disguises and several outfits over the years, the black uniform has been her signature one. There are a couple of her modern updates that are really nice but I love the one that shows of those stiletto heels. There was also a 2009 12 inch convention exclusive that somehow made its way to Ollies and I am very fortunate to have this awesome figure in my collection. Recently there was a 6 inch release of the Baroness which at this point is a very hard figure to get your hands on.

The Baroness is a very cool character and was a staple in the cartoon and the comics. This is just one of those characters that was created and has never been duplicated. Who loves the Baroness?
