G.I.Joe ‘Hard Master and Snake Eyes’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!
Welcome to the outpost. Today I’m looking at some modern G.I.Joes. The 2008, set number 10, comic 2 pack featured the Hard Master and Snake Eyes apprentice. I never was into the comics as a kid and I think it was mostly because they were not readily available in the small town I grew up in, but I got into them a little, well at least reading them when they released the comic packs in 2008. They released a huge amount of awesome comic 2 packs this year and the Hard Master pack was one of my favorites. It would have been awesome if they had done a 2 pack with the Soft Master as well but that never happened.
Both the Hard Master and the Snake Eyes came with some pretty awesome weapons. It was this pack that made me appreciate Snake Eyes and the Arashikage clan, and got me interested in the back story that I knew little about at the time. I started to enjoy Ninjas, something I had not done in the past. Some of the other sets were pretty awesome and soon I could build an entire Ninja camp. The Hard Master has deep roots in G.I. Joe and with many of the characters. Someday I hope they make a Soft Master to go with all the other awesome ninja figures, but for now I guess I will just have to be patient.
