G.I.Joe ‘Iceberg’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m talking about an original 1986 G.I.Joe character, ‘Iceberg’. This is one that my younger brother got for Christmas but somehow I ended up taking him as my own. Iceberg was a winter soldier who grew up in Texas and he hated the heat and became a winter survival trainer. Iceberg was a staple character in the cartoon and was featured in at least one episode that I can recall.

This is a great looking figure and I loved him as a kid. He came with a really cool weapon but a pack or survival gear would have made this figure awesome. The 1993 version came with a bunch of weapons but one of the cool accessories was a snowboard. There also was a 2013 exclusive modern figure that looks great and has tons of gear but I did not get this one.

Overall this is one of my favorite winter soldiers and looks great next to other winter figures such as Snow Job, Frostbite, and Sub-Zero.
