MY FAVORITE G.I.JOE FROM 1990 – STORY BY MITCHELL SMITH!

Welcome to the Outpost. 1990 was the dawn of a new era not only for G.I. Joes but for humanity itself. We were in the dwarf stages of a technological explosion. Yes we had plenty of electronics in the eighties but the internet and cell phones were on the verge of changing the world. This just happened to be the last year I would receive Joes for Christmas. There were still some solid Joes like Salvo, Sub-Zero, and Rampart non of which I got this year. I did get some nice Cobra figures like , Rock-Viper, S.A.W. Viper, and Range Viper.

I also got some Joes like Bullhorn, Topside, and my favorite Ambush. I did not get any vehicles or the Sky Patrol which are some of my favorite ones from this year. Ambush was a neat figure with a unique look. He came with a ghillie suit and tent that folded up and stored on his pack, unique weapons, and a cool looking outfit. Over all this was still a solid year and as my childhood collecting days would stop growing I still hung onto my figures, vehicles, and file cards. Who is your favorite 1990 figure?
