New News Regarding the G.I.Joe Toy Line From the Hasbro Panel at Toy Fair!

Our Vipers in the field have reported back from Toy Fair 2014. As far as the state of G.I.Joe goes, Hasbro has shared the following with those who were at attendance at the Private Showroom Event –

The G.I.Joe Kre-O Brand is still ongoing. Shown at the event were:
Nunchuck
Atomic Man
Polar Assault (Snow Serpent)

Wet Suit
Night Viper
Chuckles
And many more in 2 waves of Single Packs

These, of course, are a Toys’R’Us Exclusive

50th Anniversary Collection

There were no toys on the showroom floor; However, VERSUS sets are being planned, with one of those being Low-Light vs. Night Viper!! Also includes is Snow Job vs Arctic B.A.T., Blowtorch vs H.E.A.T. Viper, Cobra Trooper with Cobra Officer and more!

There’s no reason to be disappointed as there’s still a lot of great stuff for G.I.Joe Fans on the horizon. First and foremost, there’s another movie, G.I.Joe 3 coming our way and there’s sure to be a toy line that accompanies it. There’s the G.I.Joe Collectors Club Figure Subscription Service and of course, the G.I.Joe Collectors Convention.

We definitely can’t leave out events like SDCC, Coil Con and NJCC, that produce exclusive figures for attendees…so at the end of the day, although there might not have been product to display, at least we know that are really cool items for the 50th Anniversary and for Kre-O on the table. Our beloved Modern Action Figure has been here before and we as fans will be there when he pulls those boot straps up and charges the battlefield once again. COBRA!
