Hello everybody today we say goodbye to another legendary actor. Born in 1929 in Oak Park , IL. Bob Newhart, the beloved comedian and actor touched the hearts of millions. His death marks the end of an era in American comedy, where his influence can be felt across generations of performers and fans alike. Newhart began in the 1960s with the release of his groundbreaking comedy album, The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart.

He transitioned to television with “The Bob Newhart Show” in the 1970s, where he portrayed Dr. Robert Hartley, a psychologist navigating the humorous complexities of his patients and his own life. His second hit series, “Newhart,” aired in the 1980s, featuring him as the innkeeper Dick Loudon. The series is perhaps best remembered for its legendary final episode.

He also appeared on “The Big Bang Theory” and “Young Sheldon”. I grew up watching “Newhart”, and Bob was so funny on Big Bang, I’m in the middle of watching Young Sheldon so hi can’t wait to see his performance on that show. Newhart was a special kind of comedian and will be missed by millions. RIP Mr Newhart.
