The POP EXPOSE ‘G.I.Joe Crossfire’ by Mitchell Smith!

The 1987 Crossfire was one of the G.I. Joe’s rarest vehicles. The one and only R/C car was a cool vehicle but it came with a hefty price even for today’s standards. If you were one of those lucky kids to own one of these it was a cool car. It came with Rumbler who was accurately names as he bounced around the drivers seat.  This was a cool concept, like who wouldn’t want a G.I Joe R/C car, but it was only released in limited quantities I’m guessing mainly because of the cost. There are…

THE POP EXPOSE ‘SCRAP IRON’ By Mitchell Smith!

G.I. Joe was a big hit right from when they came out with the 1982 straight arm figures. There were only Cobra Troopers and Cobra Commander at the time for the bad guys to defend the world against. 1983 added a couple signature Cobra characters with Destro and Major Bludd. 1984 was a big year for Cobra and its lineup of enemies. The backstories of deceit and betrayal started to develop. Many great staple characters came out this year. Storm Shadow, Firefly, The Baroness, and one of my favorites Scrap Iron. Scrapie was one of…
