Recently we reported that Warner Brothers will be producing a stand alone movie that will revolve around the origin story of ‘The Joker‘. Along with that announcement is that Martin Scorcese is in negotiations to direct the film. Word today is that the reason for this move is that Warner Brothers is hoping to bring Leonardo DiCaprio into the fold to star as The Joker in the film. Everyone who saw the chemistry between Jared Leto and Margot Robbie in ‘Suicide Squad‘, knows that they did not get enough screen time together, yet they stole the movie. Now Warner Bros. has just announced at SDCC that they are planning a Joker and Harley Quinn Spin-off movie. According to ScreenRant, the new film will pair Leto and Robbie again in the lead roles and will be directed by Geoff Johns. Hopefully more details will be revealed tomorrow at the Warner Bros.
