You may ask yourself, when did the term, ‘Political Correctness‘ infect our society. I had to stop and think about it myself, because when I was growing up, even when I was in High School, nobody ever cared about being politically correct when making a statement, sharing a picture, or anything else for that matter. So I thought to myself, I want to know when and how we were set on this current path that we are on and who is responsible for it.

What I did find out is that the purpose of ‘Political Correctness‘ is to force you to end your freedom of thought, freedom of expression, even your individualism. Through training someone to not use terms or symbols that are labeled ‘Not PC’ by the collective, those creating the parameters for what is and what is not acceptable, also set the parameters of your thought. If you think that is a bit over the top, you might want to read the excerpt below from the people behind the idea of modern political correctness.

Quote:
In the American Speech journal article “Cultural Sensitivity and Political Correctness: The Linguistic Problem of Naming” (1996), Edna Andrews said that the usage of culturally inclusive and gender-neutral language is based upon the concept that “language represents thought, and may even control thought”.[24] Andrews’s proposition is conceptually derived from the Sapir–Whorf Hypothesis, which proposes that the grammatical categories of a language shape the ideas, thoughts, and actions of the speaker. Moreover, Andrews said that politically moderate conceptions of the language–thought relationship suffice to support the “reasonable deduction … [of] cultural change via linguistic change” reported in the Sex Roles journal article “Development and Validation of an Instrument to Measure Attitudes Toward Sexist/Nonsexist Language” (2000), by Janet B. Parks and Mary Ann Robinson.[25]

Moreover, other cognitive psychology and cognitive linguistics works, such as the articles “Reconstruction of Automobile Destruction: An Example of the Interaction between Language and Memory” (1974) in the Journal of Verbal Learning and Verbal Behavior, and “The Framing of Decisions and the Psychology of Choice” (1981) in the journal Science indicated that a person’s word-choice has significant framing effects upon the perceptions, memories, and attitudes of the speaker and of the listener.[26][27]

Consequently, the advocates of culturally inclusive language and of gender-neutral language have proposed that such locutions are necessary, because:

The rights, opportunities, and freedoms of discriminated people are restricted when they are reduced to racial and sexual stereotypes.
Stereotyping is implicit, unconscious, and facilitated by the availability and acceptability of pejorative labels and terms.
Rendering pejorative labels and terms socially unacceptable, the prejudiced users of such language then must consciously think about how they describe someone unlike him- or herself.
Labeling is a conscious action, and the elimination of a stereotype then shows the labelled person’s individual identity as a man or a woman who is unlike the prejudiced speaker.

So if you were to say a word that was offensive to the collective, or post a picture that is found offensive, you are automatically pegged as a racist, or homophobic, because your words are controlled by your true thought patterns according to the ‘political correctness’ crowd.

Which, is the point of the entire political correctness movement. Individualism, in thought and dead is not to be tolerated by the community, if you don’t conform, then you are shunned.

What does this have to do with the ‘Swastika’? You might say to yourself. Clearly the Swastika is the symbol of hatred, a symbol of Nazism, White Supremacy, and the like. What you probably do not know, is that it is another case of political correctness used as mind control. The Swastika originated over 5,000 years before Nazi Germany existed. The word ‘Swastika’ means ‘good fortune or well being’. It is a holy symbol to many world religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Odinism.

Quote:
To the wearer of swastika will come from the four winds of heaven good luck, long life and prosperity. The swastika is the oldest cross, and the oldest symbol in the world. Of unknown origin, in frequent use in the prehistoric items, it historically first appeared on coins as early as the year 315 B.C.

The point, is that because one group created an evil connotation to the swastika it is now a worthless symbol that can never be used for its true meaning again.

What will be next? What will political correctness destroy next? What image, slogan, logo or thought, that is deemed offensive to the collective will be taken from us. When will your personal thoughts be found to not benefit the whole, and you are thrown away as garbage. Every time we allow our personal expression, personal beliefs and individualism to be culled by political correctness, we are destroying another piece of humanity, not just for ourselves but for future generations.
