The POP-EXPOSE ‘Time Travel’ by Train!

TIME TRAVEL
Time travel has been a concept for many years. In the past 50 years or so time travel has been depicted in many movies and shows. I think this is perhaps one of the most desired dreams of humans that may never come to fruition. Over the past several years and perhaps decades time travel has been brought to life. Some of the most recent movies include Hot Tub Time Machine and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. I didn’t watch Hot Tub Time Machine but I heard it was a funny take on time travel. I did see Mr Peabody and it was a delightful animated movie that took us to the past with a few major events over the course of time. Bill and Ted also took us to the past and brought the past back home, we probably have forgotten what a telephone booth looks like but, Bill and Ted packed Napoleon, Billy the Kid, Socrates, and a few others to bring back to the future for their history report. And that would lead me into one of the greatest time travel trilogies ever to be on the big screen, Back to the Future. Who could forget the flux capacitor. Hello Mcfly anyone in there? Back to the Future brought time travel to a realistic point of view. There were some great thoughts about traveling in a relatively short span of history and what maybe could happen if time travel were possible. There have been many other great time travel movies and shows such as Quantum Leap and even Stewie from Family Guy traveled about time.
I’ve often thought about what I might do if I could travel through time. Would I go back and stop Booth from shooting Lincoln. Perhaps I would kidnap Hitler when he was a baby, but would I just kill him or would I try and bring him up to be a wonderful human being? Would I go back to see Jesus rise from the dead or maybe I would go back and see what did happen to the dinosaurs. There are so many places I would like to go and visit, maybe help build the pyramids, or see exactly how Stonehenge came about. Maybe I would take a voyage on the Titanic and warn the Captain of the iceberg that would seal his fate in history. Maybe I would go back in time to further my future. I would go back to 1982 and buy up a bunch of Snake Eyes or maybe a handful of Flaggs, leave them in the package and use them for spending cash here in the future. Maybe I would pull a Biff and place bets on the winners of sporting events or get the lotto numbers. I’m not quite sure, maybe I would just go back and tell my 10 year old self to read every single day, study hard in high school, go at least 6 years of college, and save every penny I ever make.
What would you do if you could travel back and forth to any point in time? Many things could be changed and the world as we know it could be total Anarchy or maybe we would be completely at peace. I’m not so sure I would try and change to many things. Over the years things have panned out fairly good for me. In the end though I still feel out of all the ideas and thoughts people have dreamed up over the years time travel will remain an unattainable reality. I think we will have to stick to history books and visiting locations to look at old relics, and just have to use our imagination if we want to know what it may have been like 10, 100, 1000, 10,000, etc…. years ago.
