Ultimate Edition Coming For ‘DC Injustice: Gods Among Us’!
Over this past weekend, developer Netherealm teased gamers that a “huge announcment would be coming this week”, and without wasting anytime did just that today. A Ultimate Edition of DC Injustice : Gods Among Us will be not only coming to current consoles ,but to the PS4, PC, and PS Vita next month. The edition will include all on one awesome disc every single DLC character that has been released, still no official word if all the skin packs will be included as well. The PS4 edition will feature a touch pad function , and the PS Vita is developed by newcomer Armature Studios.
My thoughts? Being a huge fan of this game who has already purchased the majority of the games DLC, this news seems more of a reward for the casual fans or gamers who have not bought the game yet. I would of hoped the gamers who have continued to hand over their wallets to buy all the DLC (which most likely contributed to green light the Ultimate Edition in the first place) would of gotten some new DLC character or a new arena. As for the PS4 release, even though I am sure it will be amazing, I don’t see many gamers buying this game twice, but for first time buyers, this is pure gold. Share your thoughts after the JUMP!

Following in the footsteps of Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us is getting a Vita release, and it will be here soon. NetherRealm Studios’ creative director teased big news on Twitter over the weekend, and now we know that the Armature Studios-developed port will be here next month.
This version of Injustice is considered the “ultimate” edition, which means that all of the additional characters are on-hand. Armature is also touting 60fps fighting on the Vita version, along with all of the destructible environments and other features of the original console releases. Additionally, High Voltage is working on a PlayStation 4 version that will feature touchpad functionality and in-game streaming. A PC version is also in development at High Voltage. All of the character skins are included in the Ultimate Edition. The version released in the Americas will also include an 11-song soundtrack with music from Jane’s Addiction, Depeche Mode, and AWOLNATION.
Ultimate editions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will join the PC, PS4, and Vita versions on November 12, 2013. The console versions will be $59.99. The PC version will be $49.99. The Vita iteration will retail for $39.99.
