2006 GI Joe Sigma 6 Mantis Mech Strike with Destro

Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m checking out the 2006 G.I. Joe Sigma 6 Mantis Mech Strike with Destro. I’ve been doing a lot of Sigma Six 8 inch figures, but this is the first Sigma 2.5 inch figure I have touched on. The 2.5 figures themselves lack a lot of articulation. Some are just figurines with no articulations and this Destro has arms and legs that move similar to old school Fisher Price and Star Wars.

I feel these could have had more articulation but maybe the technology wasn’t quite there in 2006. The Mech however is completely super articulated with tons of movement throughout the figure. I feel this line focused more on the vehicles than the figures which is fine on all accounts. Overall this is an interesting vehicle and an interesting overall line in the GI Joe history.
