The POP EXPOSE ‘Thanksgiving’ by Mitchell Smith!

This is one of my favorite weeks coming up. Turkey, football, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. This is what launches the holiday season for me. I love going grocery shopping for Thanksgiving and picking up all the things you might not buy on a weekly basis, such as stuffed olives, grape leaves, and lobster tail. I also like cooking dinner or helping but I don’t mind being the head chef. Nothing like prepping a turkey and cracking a good bottle of scotch at 7 AM. 

Then after enjoying a meal with all your loved ones, its nice to watch some football and take a long nap. Just about the time I start recouping enough to have a turkey sandwich, I’m ready to head out for some late night all night Black Friday shopping. Be careful out there for stampeding crowds looking for that one special deal. Also make sure you use your blinkers when changing lanes there are also bored police officers looking to nab one of those dreaded Black Friday shoppers. 

Maybe it’s lost its luster a bit, standing in line waiting to cash out and dealing with a bunch of strange people who may or may not be as hungover as you at 12 o’clock at night, but if you just wait a couple days till Monday you can order the same thing on line and not have to get out of your cozy jammies. Well I hope you all enjoy the long weekend at least and most of all Happy Thanksgiving to all.
