‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ TV Series To Begin Filming This Fall!

Another t.v land rumor has come to reality. In a news report from Production Weekly’s Twitter Feed, a new t.v. series based on the cult classic film From Dusk Till Dawn will begin filming this fall. No news on cast as of yet, however a trailer will be revealed later this year on the new Rober Rodriguez cable network channel, El Rey. If the show doesn’t take itself too seriously , it could be a welcomed competitor for HBO’s True Blood series. Join in the Discussion after the JUMP!

Another film-to-television project is heating up for a fall production star. According to Production Weekly’s Twitter feed, the From Dusk Till Dawn series rolls cameras this fall (you can see the tweet inside).

In May, Robert Rodriguez established an English-language cable network called El Rey which is partnering with Univision for the series. El Rey makes its debut later this year via Comcast.

The series will continue to expand the bloodsucker-ridden world of From Dusk Till Dawn which spawned two direct-to-DVD sequels.

The TV adaptation of @Rodriguez & Quentin Tarantino‘s FROM DUSK TILL DAWN for @Elreynetwork will begin filming in Austin mid-October.
