J.J. Abrams Preparing Studio For ‘Star Wars VII’!!
Not exactly major news for Star Wars fans to drool over in excitment here, but never the less , it is a little exciting. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Star Wars director J.J. Abrams has decided to do some major renovations on his Los Angeles BadRobot production facility to accomadate the shooting of the new film so he could be closer to his family and not have to follow Star Wars tradition and film in London. According to the insider source, the renovation plans consist of….
“A green room, sound studios and other new facilities will be developed within the three-story, 18,000-square-foot Santa Monica building, which already includes editing bays, a workshop for making props, a screening room that can double as a set and Abrams’ personal suite of offices.”.
How much of the film will be shot in Santa Monica has yet to be confirmed at this time.Star Wars VII has a target theatrical release of summer,2015. So anyone else getting excited yet?
