LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Gets 4 More Episodes from the CW!


We have some exciting news today for fans of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The CW has ordered 4 additional episodes for this season raising the total from 13 to 17. We will get to see some more time travelling butt kicking action deeper into this Season. For more details on this move, check out the latest below and share your thoughts AFTER THE JUMP. Legends of Tomorrow airs on Thursdays at 7pm Central on the CW.

The lowest-rated of the CW’s superhero quartet, “Legends” is a healthy performer for the younger-skewing network, averaging 2.34 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demo in its second season, including DVR viewership. The show improved the time period from last fall, which was previously slotted with “The Vampire Diaries,” by 13% among adults 18-49 and 35% in total viewers.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The ATOM, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Professor Martin Stein & Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, and Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave; with the Justice Society of America including Sarah Grey as Stargirl, Kwesi Ameyaw as Dr. Mid-Nite, Patrick J. Adams as Hourman, Dan Payne as Obsidian (with Lance Hneriksen providing the voice), Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, and Matthew MacCaull as Commander Steel.
