Marvel Studios Reveal Their Next Ten Films!


At a news event today at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Marvel has revealed some previously unreleased information about their upcoming movie lineup. What information did they let out of the bag? Get the Skinny on it below and share your thoughts after the JUMP!

Captain America: The Serpent Society will be released on May 6 2016. November 4, 2016 will be Doctor Strange, directed by Scott Derrickson.

Feige repeated previous commments that Dr Strange gets the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the supernatural side of things.

Dr. Strange will also enter the MCU into the world of parallel dimensions.

James Gunn appears in video to say he’s writing and directing Guardians of the Galaxy 2 , and the release date has been moved up to May 5, 2017.

July 28, 2017 (Guardians 2’s original release date) will instead see the release of Thor: Ragnarok.

Hemswoth and Hiddleston will return for the third film, which teases “The end of all things,” as Feige said. He said it will pick up after Avengers 2 and “revitalize the character.”

“Things have already been seeded for the Black Panther movie,” Feige teased.

July 6m 2018 release for Captain Marvel!
Feige confirmed, “This is Carol Danvers.”
Her movie has been in the works as long as Doctor Strange.

Captain Marvel will be a mixture of Earth origins and cosmic adventures
And next… Nov 2, 2018 will see release of The Inhumans

Potential for multiple franchises, Feige says.
Inhumans will be Marvel’s 20th movie.

May 4 2018. Culmination of everything. A clip showing Avengers and scenes from multiple movies showed next, a montage of all the films, including Avengers, Guardians, and more.


And the title is: Avengers: Infinity War

Part 1 will be released May 4, 2018. Part 2, May 3, 2019.

Joss Whedon debuted an exclusive clip from Avengers: Age of Ultron next. Cap and Stark are cutting wood and talking about Scarlett Witch.

They are arguing about preparing for war and the future of the Avengers.
After the clip, Feige says there must be a better title than “serpent society.” So the revealed the real title, Captain America: Civil War, and Chris Evans and Robert Downey, Jr. took the stage.

Chadwick Boseman is introduced as Black Panther. “Welcome to the fray,” Downey said to him.
Downey asked him to pick a side. Boseman said, “Black Panther is his own guy.”

Feige said, “We have a hell of a lot of work to do,” and ended the main presentation, but said there’s more to come.
