Nightcrawler Is A ‘We’ll See’ For ‘Days Of Future Past’?
According to MTV.com Bryan Singer is saying the reprisal of Alan Cummings as ‘Nightcrawler’ is still only a “We’ll See”. I guess that is better than absolutely not. I think most of us would love to see this character make his return, as in my opinion he was one of the highlights of the X2 film. Add Alan Cumming to the increasingly slim list of former “X-Men” actors that haven’t signed on to Bryan Singer’s “Days of Future Past.” But just like Halle Berry, the door isn’t closed on Cumming just yet.
“I don’t know. We’ll see,” was Singer’s response when Huffington Post’s Mike Ryan asked the filmmaker about seeing Cumming as Nightcrawler in the coming “X-Men” sequel. “You know … we’ll see.”That “we’ll see” could turn into a “yes,” depending on where Singer takes the “Days of Future Past” script.”Yeah, I know. I don’t want to … sometimes you don’t want to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to something that may not be a ‘yes’ or a ‘no,’ or anything,” said Singer. “I haven’t decided yet, a few things. I’m still, you know — there are certain aspects of the script that I’m still toying with.”Sounds like there’s still room for Kurt Wagner, if you ask us!
