If you were excited about The Flash / Supergirl crossover, or the fact that the Producers of Supergirl have included iconic previous Super Hero Actors in the show such as Dean Cain and Laura Vandervoort, get ready for another huge reveal. Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg have plans for legendary actress Linda Carter, the original ‘Wonder Woman‘, to appear on the show. According to reports the producers wanted to have Linda Carter on in Season 1, but due to scheduling conflicts it was not able to be worked out. The plan now is to have her appear on season two as the female President of the United States. Check out more on this below, and share your thoughts AFTER THE JUMP!
“We’re going to do it, we’ll just do it next year,” an optimistic Andrew Kreisberg, also an EP on all four shows, added.
“Alright, good,” Berlanti said, before revealing the role they have in mind for Carter: “She’s the female president of the United States.”
Though that’s short of an official announcement of Carter’s involvement in “Supergirl” season two, it certainly appears that the show’s executive producers are eager to have her on — and to put Wonder Woman in the White House.
“Supergirl” airs 8 p.m. Mondays on CBS.
