Return Of The Jedi 40th Anniversary Speeder Bike with Scout Trooper Review!

Welcome to Hondo’s Hideout. As many of you may know this marks the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Return Of The Jedi. Hard to believe it’s been 40 years. ROTJ was the second of the trilogy I watched as a kid. Empire was the last and a New Hope I watched on tv so I had to sit through commercials. I guess you could say Jedi was the first one I watched multiple times, so I naturally loved this one the most. There have been quite a bit of merchandise to celebrate the anniversary. Pricing has been a bit steep, and I have been looking at the 40th Speeder Bike with Scout Trooper for a while. As the peg overflowed with them I was hoping I could get one on clearance.
Once the price dropped , bang I was hooked after the first one. Not to take anything away from the original vehicle, these are pretty cool. They come with a stand with a ball joint so it can be positioned in many angles. There is also some nice fine detail along with the center piece that can flip up to reveal the engine. Things have gotten expensive all around and one must be choosy and have some high self control, but I didn’t want this to get away. If the price dropped again I’d definitely pick up another one or 2.
The Trooper is solid, his head has the double ball joint so he can be crouched low and still be looking ahead. His legs take a bit of twisting to get them in the right position to sit properly. Luke and Leia fit perfectly and look really good on this speeder bike. Over all I’m very satisfied with this vehicle and I’m happy I picked one up.
