We announced earlier this month that the CW Seed had picked up the full ‘Constantine‘ series and would be airing it. Now there is a rumor that ‘Constantine‘ star Matt Ryan and ‘The Flash‘ actor John Wesley Shipp will be announced as CWTV regulars at this weeks SDCC. Check out the details on this below, and share your thoughts AFTER THE JUMP!
BleedingCool is now reporting that this weekends San Diego Comic Con could see the announcement of two major game changing moves in the CW TV Universe.
The website is reporting that not only could John Wesley Shipp (as Jay Garrick) be getting a multi-show deal – which makes sense given the Justice Society’s inclusion on Legends of Tomorrow – but that he would join Wentworth Miller and John Barrowman as the third CWTV series regular.
Furthermore BleedingCool had the following to say of Constantine’s potential return:
Matt Ryan could get a similar deal as the network tests the streaming audience of Constantine as well as his appearances on the network this upcoming season. The Vampire Diaries is ending after this season and the network wants to keep Fridays as their horror night, probably pairing a Constantine-led series with workhorse Supernatural, which gets decent ratings whatever time slot it is moved to. iZombie is also seen as strong enough to lead Fridays with Supernatural if need be.
