Skeleton Crew in Space: Fern & KB Bring the Goonies Vibes to the Black Series

Welcome to Hondo’s Hideout. Today I’m taking a look at the Star Wars 6 inch Black Series “Skeleton Crew” Fern and KB figures. Probably a lot of you gave up on Star Wars or maybe even are just Star Warsed out with all the spinoffs the past several years. I won’t lie it was hard to get into this series but I muddled through. I read one report that this series was supposed to have an eighties Goonies feel to it except set in space.
By the end of the series the young characters grew on me and I found these 6 inch figures that look really good in my opinion. It was a story set away from Jedi and other main franchise characters so I approached it as a separate series tied into the grand universe that is Star Wars. The figures have some nice detail and back packs with real straps rather than a peg, so they fit snug. I really think these figures pop and a Goony tried to get them to come along on an adventure.
