Stephen Amell Talks ‘ARROW’ Episode #100!

Arrow is getting ready to celebrate its milestone 100th episode. And, for fans there is something really special brewing that is sure to have everyone tuned in. According to Stephen Amell we are going to see some characters return who we may never see again. And the great part is, Arrow will be able to interact with characters that are dead or that are no longer in Star City. Check out what he had to say on the subject below and share your thoughts AFTER THE JUMP. Arrow’s 100th episode will air on Wednesday, November 30th at 7PM on the CW.
“It is such a radical departure from anything that we have ever done on the show,” star Stephen Amell told TV Line. “We utilize the fantastical elements that we bring in on The Flash and carry through to Legends of Tomorrow with the present-day storyline to create something that is not a flashback [or] a flash-forward. It’s something else entirely.”
Those fantastical elements come in to play when Oliver – for an unexplained reason – wakes up to a life where he never boarded The Queen’s Gambit. Several characters are also set to make their “return” from the grave, including his parents, Robert and Moira Queen (Jamey Sheridan and Susanna Thompson) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), who Oliver is set to marry.
Amell says this mysterious new reality “gives us license to do whatever we want…and to show some things that we’ll never be able to show, to have some characters interact that will never be able to interact on the show again – probably.” Amell also teased that Oliver will finally gain some emotional closure with several of his loved ones. “There [is] a very therapeutic moment for my character towards the end [of the episode] where I get to say goodbye to people that I never got the chance to say goodbye to.”
