G.I. Joe 1983 Falcon & Viper Gliders – Forgotten Classics of the Original Line

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1983 G.I. Joe Falcon and Viper gliders. Back in the day these were pretty awesome. The Cobra Viper glider was featured in the original mini series as Duke escapes the clutches of Cobra Commander and his evil organization. I don’t know anyone that had this as a kid or as a collector. These were designed to actually fly so a good many of them got destroyed. If you are lucky enough to have one of…

Revving Up Nostalgia: The 1986 Dreadnok Thunder Machine Breakdown!

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1986 Dreadnok Thunder Machine. The Thunder Machine made its first appearance in the series “Arise Serpentor Arise”. While Zartan and the Noks held a competition for the next member to join them Monkeywrench and Thrasher made quite an impression. Of course they both made it and Thrasher brought his Thunder Machine on board. The custom hot rod assumingely built by Thrasher is an interesting vehicle. I always got a Mad Max vibe on this vehicle.…
