I just recently finished reading Kenobi, writing by John Jackson Miller. I nice story taking place after Ben delivering Luke to the Lars homestead. It has a good plot, and takes us through Ben’s time of settling in on Tatooine. If you are a Star Wars fan and have not read this book yet, do so. It talks a lot about various cities and lay of the lands on Tatooine, such as Mos Eisly, Anchorhead, Pika Oasis, Jundland Wastes, and various other location throughout the Tatooine desert. There was an extensive look into the Tusken Raiders and really brought more meaning to their existence. It also gives a good look at moister farmers and how precious water is on the planet.
I bought this book last August and I started it and it was interesting to me and I kind of lost focus on it. When I picked it back up though I couldn’t stop reading. There was lots of excitement and it kept me glued to see what might happen next not only to Ben but the Tuskens and the other people around Ben. There was a great creation of characters and it made me want to go to Tatooine and see for myself what might be happening on this sandy planet.
Ben goes on a few adventures and makes friends with some of the locals and helps them out of some trouble all the while trying to keep a low profile to protect his identity. After all his main objective is to watch over Luke until he can be trained to become a Jedi. So all in all this was a very enjoyable book to read and definitely would recommend it especially if you are a fan of Tatooine.
