A Retrospective of the 2006 G.I. Joe Sigma Six Recondo!

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 2007 G.I. Joe Sigma 6 Recondo. As many of you know the Sigma line was short lived and many of the people who would have been Interested in these as collectors were probably starting or raising a family. Money was tight. I remember looking at this back in the day and being like $15, wow that’s too much for my blood. Now that I’m older and my kids are all but grown up I enjoy finding some of those cool figures I didn’t get. The 2007 line seems to be a bit meatier than the 2005 figures.
This adds a little more stability to the figures. Recondo originally came with a crocodile but I don’t have that. He does have a nice arrangement of weapons and comes with a signature machete and removable hat. I don’t quite understand why he comes with a jack. For some reason all the Joes started shaving and this Recondo does not sport the awesome stache that created his whole look from the get go.
Over all this is a solid figure and it has its place in the overall GI Joe Hall of Fame. Who was into the Sigma 6 figures when they first came out? Make sure to check back for our next discussion.
