Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the new G.I. Joe Super7 ReAction O-ring Cover Girl. I had a chance to watch the original GI Joe mini series last week and I stumbled upon this figure at Target. I always loved the original look of Cover Girl and this figure captures her classic look perfectly. I always loved the original mini series and all the great characters that were brought alive.

I feel this figure fits in better with the 1982 and 1983 characters and the original 1983 Cover Girl with the Wolverine fits better 1984 and beyond. Not to say they don’t both fit or work with either or. Overall this is a nice figure and I’m happy to see some O-Ring style figures making their way back into the Joe world. It appears the 3-3/4 inch figures are become to the Classified figures what the 12 inch figures were to the 3-3/4 inch figures. Make sure to check back for our next discussion.
