The newest trailer for the upcoming ninth season of “Doctor Who” finds the Doctor doing what he does best: saving people. It features a host of characters new and old, from Daleks to dragons to “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams. Jenna Coleman’s Clara Oswald, Michelle Gomez’s Missy and the TARDIS also make a comeback, swinging into action alongside Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor. “There is an epic sweep to this season and I think the villains and monsters reflect that,” Capaldi shared in an earlier interview. “Great new ones, brilliant old ones and some very scary creatures looming in stories with real emotional ambition.” “Doctor Who” season nine premieres September 19, 2015 at 9 pm EST on BBC America.
