Off the Rails with Transformers 2025 Crasher – From GoBots Origins to Modern Collectible

Hello everyone. I’m Train and today I’m going off the rails with the 2025 Transformers Crasher . I recently have had an eye on this Crasher figure. I passed it up numerous times and finally broke down and picked this figure up because it looks really sharp. I grew up watching Transformers as a kid but I never had any of the figures, so I was not really into Transformers up until a few years ago. They really catch your eye and I started collecting original characters that I grew up watching as a kid. I can name most of the GI Joes and what year they are from, but I’m not as well versed on Transformers. Naturally I googled this character and started looking into her history.
Originally Crasher was a strong headed female released in 1983 in Japan as part of the Bandai Machine Robo line then in the US in 1984 as a part of Tonka’s GoBot line. Essentially she was GI Joe’s Baroness to the GoBot world. This figure started to take on a lot more meaning for me and the cool factors shot up for sure. She was transformed after Hasbro acquired Tonka. Long story short Hasbro does not have the right to replicate the original figures, so this is why we got this really cool modern formula 1 race car. The original GoBot Crasher is a Porsche 956, which would be cool if they could get the rights to make Crasher and other original GoBots like Cy-kill.
I’m tempted to track down some GoBots now but they may be a little steep in price to be chasing right now. Overall this is a very sharpe figure with a cool background. It prompted me to start thinking about some of the other Transformer’s backstories and how cool and creative these characters were back in the day and still hold up today. I really want to dive into some of these great characters down the road so keep your eyes open. Make sure to check back for more stories and reviews and stay on the rails right here with the crazy Train.
