In the heart of the G.I. Joe headquarters, a sense of urgency resonated through the walls as General Hawk addressed a select team of Joes. Flint, Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes, and Roadblock stood at attention, absorbing every detail.
“Joes, we’ve got an extraordinary mission. It’s time to bring one of our own back home. Grunt, who stayed behind in the parallel universe we discovered, needs our help,” General Hawk announced solemnly.
As they prepared for the journey, Duke, who had been on the original mission, briefed them on the altered world where Cobra reigns supreme and G.I. Joe never existed. The plan was to infiltrate the alternate universe, locate Grunt, and safely extract him.

Upon reaching the outskirts of a small, controlled town, they found Grunt living a humble life, unaware of the impending reunion. As Flint and Lady Jaye approached him, the look of disbelief and joy on Grunt’s face was unmistakable.
“Grunt, we’re here to bring you back,” Flint declared.
Grunt, torn between his new life and duty, hesitated. He had grown attached to the people and the cause in this world. But the bond with his fellow Joes and the real world he belonged to was undeniable.

With time running out, the Joes reached the portal, but Grunt hesitated again, looking back at the students fighting for their freedom. It was then that Lady Jaye reminded him, “Your fight here has inspired a new generation. But your fight isn’t over. We need you, Grunt. The world needs you.”
With a heavy heart but a sense of duty, Grunt joined his team, stepping through the portal as the world he had grown to love continued its fight in his spirit.
