G.I.Joe ‘Ninja Combat Cruiser’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m checking out the 2012 G.I.Joe Ninja Combat Cruiser. This is a vehicle I picked up and found out it was pretty cool. The vehicle mold is from the original 2010 Vamp mold. I don’t remember seeing any of the Vamps in this mold in stores until I found this vehicle. This version uses darker colors and unlike the original this has all 4 doors that open and close. This is very similar how they enclosed the original 1982 Vamp and made it even more awesome…

G.I.Joe ‘General Hawk’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m getting into an original 1982 G.I.Joe character, ‘General Hawk‘. This is one who has been around and has had many face lifts over the years. Hawk was one of my first figures I got as a kid. It came packaged with one of my favorite small vehicles the M.M.S. This a great version of Hawk and it is one I will always find special. Hawk was revamped in 1986 and blossomed into General Hawk and this is a figure I also got and I love this version as much as…

THE POP EXPOSE ‘Remembering Dawn Wells’ by Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , 0 comment

Dawn Wells best known for playing Mary Ann on the hit sitcom Gilligan’s Island sadly passed away at age 82 just shy of making it to 2021. Growing up for me I had hours of watching Gilligan’s Island. The show itself is an American staple that defines culture in the 60’s. In 1960 Wells was crowned miss Nevada and represented her state in the Miss America contest. Wells had a number of other rolls in TV including Bonanza, Growing Pains, and Baywatch. Anyone that grew up watching Gilligan knows Mary Ann portrayed…

‘G.I.Joe 2021 What do you expect?’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. We pulled the E-break and slide sideways right into 2021. This week I’m not going to talk about what we have or what we had, rather I want to touch on what we want to see coming down the pipeline for G.I.Joe in 2021. 2020 made a feeble attempt to distribute 6 inch and 3-3/4 inch figures and vehicles. Surprising enough I was finally able to get an A.W.E. Striker after Christmas Grrrrrrr. First I would like to say I think the lines may have been dampened by…
